During the Mysuru pilot, members get 400 CountR Coins free. Scan the code at a participating shop, type your bill, and pay less. The discount is shown before you submit.
How coins work
Each shop's discount depends on its category and your bill. The discount is worked out, rounded down to whole rupees, and that many coins are used. Here is a month with the Starter grant.

Categories at the highest rate Countr allows; a shop may choose less. The last bill shows what happens when coins run short: you get what is left, and you see it before you submit.
What coins are not
A coin is a discount, not money. We are careful about that, because it is what keeps Countr outside payment regulation — and because you should know exactly what you have.
- Not sold. Coins come included with a membership, and Countr never sells them.
- Not cash. They cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money.
- Not transferable. You cannot give them to anyone else.
- Not payment. They reduce a price; you always pay the shop yourself.
- Not permanent. They expire, and expired coins are not refunded.
- Not rounded up. A discount of ₹99.90 is ₹99, so you never spend a coin you did not receive.
Plans
Only Starter is open, and only during the pilot, and it is free. The other plans are not open. When they are, a plan will be a membership with coins included, never coins sold for money, and a lawyer will have confirmed that before we take a rupee.
